This project is unique in that it is the first and currently the only modern office building in Jūrmala. In the design process we had to regularly take audacious decisions relative to the building’s visual appearance so as to integrate it into the city’s’ cultural-historical environment.
In rebuilding the current building, energy losses were cardinally reduced, creating an energy efficient and environmentally friendly building. Without changing its initial dimensions, a new visual design was created, in conformity with the basic principles of contemporary architecture and Jūrmala’s traditional wooden architectural façades.Didzis Krūmiņš

In developing the landscaping project for the Citadele Offices, we have drawn on the experience of Western countries in designing similar buildings, leaving as much space as possible for pedestrians and cyclists and taking care of the trees on the grounds and installing functional greenery, while at the same time providing the maximum number of parking spaces for employees and visitors. We hope that the building’s users will appreciate our efforts as they fulfil their everyday professional duties in a contemporary, green and orderly environment.
